 3:30 PM: In a tricycle on my way to Katipunan to meet with everyone else!

 So I met up with Carlo first and was supposed to hang out at his place until the others arrived, but he said his sister had friends coming over. Also, the Batcave is moving!! Aaggggh I wish I had taken more photos of the Batcave from way before.

In between the Batcave and these photos, we basically planned to go to Banchetto which supposedly had a sky lantern gathering. But the organizers cancelled at the last minute so we decided to go to Cuenca, Alabang instead where they had ANOTHER sky lantern gathering! It was like a 2 hour drive away and the traffic was horrible! blaaahhh

 There were a number of people when we arrived. It was nice though - there weren't TOO MANY people

 We didn't expect the drizzle + mud. :(

 We were looking to buy lanterns, but they ran out. 

So we kind of just picked up these lanterns on a table.........

We got two!!

 When we went out to light our lanterns, there were already so many up in the night sky!

It was beyond beautiful. 

It was like watching hundreds of souls taking flight.

Unfortunately, I was not able to take a photo of my own lantern. Obviously.

But Kiko was able to take awesome photos + videos of it! Will post once I get a hold of it.
